Western Victoria is one of the worlds most Volcanic areas with approx 400 old volcanoes in the area, we drive through this area and visit Hanging Rock and Mt. Franklin. This is also Gold rush area from the 1850 & 1860s and we visit some of the Gold Mining towns on the way. At this time 1/3 of the worlds Gold came from Victoria.

Hanging Rock is the remains of a old Volcano, we can climb to the top of this tower of rocks.

Mt Franklin is a small volcano which we can drive to the top of and walk amongst the trees on the top rim, it is possible to still find small burnt stones from the last eruption 1000's of years ago.

This tour can be joined with a trip to Melbourne or the Great Ocean Road as well, as it is on the way.

This tour focuses on visiting as many beaches around Sydney as we can in 1 day. we will start at Coogee and then go to Bronte and do the famous Bondi Bronte walk around the cliffs, where you get a wonderful view of Bondi beach. After some time at Bondi, we will then visit Watsons Bay and Camp Cove.

We will then go to the other side of the Harbour and visit Balmoral Beach and then go to Manly Beach. We will look at a few lookouts on the way as well.

If the weather is good, a great day for taking photos

This tour involves about 5 km of easy walking

We supply beach towels as well, for when we may sit on the beach in a few locations.

This is a beautiful day driving north from Sydney to Palm Beach, here we walk up to the Barrenjoey Lighthouse where there are wonderful views and photo opportunities. Then there is some time to spend on the beach. After this we drive to the Ku-Ring-Gai Chase National Park and drive to West Head where there is a very scenic view of Palm Beach and Pitt Water. In the National park there is a chance to do some bush walking as well.  One place where we can walk to is America Bay where there are some Aboriginal rock carvings as well.

This is a very photographic day.

This tour involves about 3 - 4 km of walking ( easy / hard ) during the day.
